GEARLinsoul KZ ZS10 Pro 2 — Hybrid 1DD + 4BA in-ear monitor with tuning switches
The second generation of KZ's legendary budget IEM adds custom tuning switches and redesigned balanced armatures, delivering incredible directional footstep separation in CS2 for under €60.
- Architecture
- 1DD + 4BA Hybrid (5 drivers)
- Tuning
- 4-Level Hardware Switches
- Impedance
- 25–28 Ω
Strengths
- 5-driver hybrid configuration per ear provides pinpoint spatial accuracy for footsteps and defuse cues
- 4-level physical tuning switches allow instant EQ adjustment to boost high-frequency audio cues
- Sturdy metal faceplate and ergonomic resin cavity ensure solid passive noise isolation
Trade-offs
- Stock silicone tips are basic — swapping for memory foam tips improves bass response and seal
Hybrid 5-driver acoustic architecture for competitive CS2
In Counter-Strike 2, directional audio positioning is critical. Traditional heavy gaming headsets can create heat and head clamping fatigue during long premier matches, which is why professional CS2 players consistently switch to in-ear monitors (IEMs) on LAN.
The Linsoul KZ ZS10 Pro 2 builds upon one of the most popular IEMs ever made with an upgraded internal layout:
- 1 Dynamic Driver (10mm) handling tight, punchy low-end without drowning out subtle treble frequencies.
- 4 Custom Balanced Armatures (31736 dual BA units) dedicated to crystal-clear mids and highs, emphasizing footsteps on wood, metal, sand, and bomb defusal clicks.
4-level physical hardware tuning switches
On the side of each shell, 4 micro-switches let you hardware-tune the frequency response without third-party software or equalizer overlays:
- Bass Boost: Enhances low-end punch for immersive gaming.
- Linear Clarity: Flattens response for clean mid-range communication and callouts.
- Treble Focus: Sharpens upper-frequency transients, making enemy footsteps in Mirage palace or Nuke vents cut through heavy utility.
